2020 Year in Review

2020 was a year of many firsts, and not unlike most others, our industry was faced with new and never before experienced challenges and adversity. This year’s Annual Review reflects our successful endeavors of continuing to deliver and empower people to explore safe, sane, consensual, honest, integrous, accountable kinky smut.

  • User searches decreased by ≈4%, while users’ comments written and scene ratings given increased by ≈5%.
  • Gangbang, Bondage, and BDSM remained the top 3 most searched categories, and Family-Roleplay/Taboo was knocked off the top 10 entirely in favor of Fisting.
  • Members’ comments continue to convey positive sentiment, with Love remaining as the most commented word. 
  • Content shot and licensed pre-coronavirus was exhausted around June, 2020. This can be seen by the drastic, negative slope on Kink Exclusives’ positive ratings month over month.
