This January, members will have access to over 300 archived videos and images going back as far as 2007 on Kink’s relaunch of the Behind Kink channel. Members can get up close and personal with behind-the-scenes footage of models, directors, and crew in an impressive historical video collection.
These videos document a monumental period of growth, particularly when Kink resided in the famous historical building, the San Francisco Armory, located in the city’s Mission District. Viewers will be able to see the moment when Peter Acworth, Kink Founder/CEO, purchased this historical property. Viewers can also see countless videos of the crew’s tireless effort transforming this building into a haven for shooting ground-breaking BDSM porn.
These Behind Kink videos are news and documentary-style stories spotlighting special events, talent and crew interviews, kinky community matters, and amazing behind-the-scenes footage of some of Kink’s most notable and classic shoots. There are also many videos highlighting what it’s like on an average work day at Kink. (Basically, no day is “average!”) This collection demystifies what it’s like to work in the porn industry, whether you’re a model, set designer, camera operator, director, or any of the other very important roles that are crucial to making Kink what it is today!
This collection also demonstrates how deeply involved Kink was, and still is, in the local and worldwide BDSM scene. As a host to many community events, workshops, and conferences, Kink was a critical supporter of many local and national BDSM organizations. It’s important to Peter Acworth, Kink Founder/CEO, that the kinky community have access to these historical videos documenting how Kink and the kinky community have evolved at each other’s side.
Regarding the new channel launch, Peter commented, “I am so happy to see Kink’s valuable historical archives restored. We have come a long way since then and we are on the cusp of some very exciting updates, but it is wonderful to be able to look back on the past, too!”
The new channel launches today, January 22nd. Check it out at Behind Kink.
