The Pope began his journey in 2003 as he started experimenting with bondage. He began on his own, out of fascination, then was hired by a smaller production company out of San Francisco which later moved to LA. He quickly moved into a director role and it wasn’t long before his reputation for being one of the best bondage directors to work for, had him shooting the biggest names in porn. He moved up and became a force to be reckoned with because his bondage was so complex and brutal, yet somehow sustainable for models to be able to finish the scene. His attention to detail grabbed more than just the models attention.
In 2010 The Pope was recruited by Kink.com as their newest director. He began directing for The Upper Floor and The Training of O channels. His fierce style of domination and military style training of the models quickly took hold and became the new standard for the brands. His ability to take models further into submission, and show them a side of themselves otherwise never seen was of epic proportions. He was able to mentally and physically push his slaves so that they grew as submissives and became better bondage models. This was a side of The Pope that had never been seen until now and we couldn’t wait to see what else he had to offer.
He created the channels Sadistic Rope and Dungeon Sex (now known as Brutal Sessions) to showcase his passion as a bondage rigger, sadist, and director to give us the most brutal content we ever offered. He eventually took over Device Bondage and took it to new heights with his creative flair. He began doing story driven features for the channel which had never been done before. The members loved the new direction and soon after, The Pope took over the flagship site of Kink.com, Hogtied.
This is what he had been working towards; to be the director/rigger/handler for the biggest and best rope bondage site in the world. They were big shoes to fill and not only did he fill them, but he stomped his way past all in his path to claim the title as the AVN award winning director for Deception. Deception won “Best BDSM Movie of the Year”, along with 5 other nominations including “Best Web Director”. He wrote, directed, and starred in Deception, alongside Cherry Torn and Veruca James. The Pope has made his mark and plans to continue his reign as the top bondage director.
