Kink.com Shooting Rules for Webmasters

These rules are intended to give guidelines to webmasters so that our activities are legal and safe. You absolutely must follow these rules at all times. If you do not, you will either be breaking the law on behalf of the company or placing a model at a level of risk that the company does not accept.

  1. Every model and every spectator MUST have a valid ID proving they are over 18.
  2. NO activities involving animals participating in a sex act or in a sex scene.
  3. All models must be clean and sober when they arrive for work. Models under the influence of alcohol or drugs must be sent home.
  4. If one model in a scene requests that condoms be used, the entire scene is a condom scene and if a penis penetrates a vagina or anus, there MUST be a condom on it.
  5. All models participating in scenes that involve exchanges of bodily fluids MUST provide proof of a clean and valid STD test no more than 30 days old.
  6. ALL BDSM scenes MUST be shot with a mutually understood and easily understandable safeword.
      • All models must be given a safeword before the scene begins. If the model is gagged or otherwise has his/her mouth restricted, a non-verbal safeword must be agreed upon that can be communicated with the mouth restriction in place. Always have the model test the safeword before the scene begins so that you are sure both model and producer understand the signal. Upon use of the safeword, the scene MUST stop immediately. If the model is bound, ask if he/she needs to be released. The scene may continue at a less intense pace ONLY if the model explicitly agrees in a clear, concise and deliberate manner.
  7. Scat and Defecation are NOT permitted in any Kink.com content
  8. Needles are NOT permitted in Kink.com content
  9. Any activity that results in bleeding is NOT permitted in Kink.com content
  10. Vomiting is NOT permitted in Kink.com content
  11. Breath Play is permitted HOWEVER
      • No model may be tied with rope or any other implement around the neck in such a way that the rope could inhibit breathing if the model were to fall or faint. For example, a model may be tied with her feet to a loose rope around the neck, but cannot be tied standing with a rope around her neck attached to the ceiling. The safeword rule is especially relevant, and producers must be extra attentive to signs of blue skin during breath play.
  12. A model shall NOT be caused to choke or cough due to placing an item in his/her mouth, including oral sex.
  13. Simulated rape involving intercourse or penetration is prohibited.
  14. Simulated beating that involves a closed fist or a foot with footwear (a shoe or boot) is prohibited.
  15. Simulated serious injuries or death.
  16. Crying scenes are subject to these Guidelines:
      • Tears from pain are NOT acceptable.
        • Tears from a forced blowjob are not acceptable. (Choking due to a forced blowjob are also not acceptable – please see rule #12).
        • Tears from a completely voluntary blowjob are acceptable. There must be no forced aspect – i.e. no male thrusting or hair pulling or hand on the back of the head and thrusting the cock into the model’s mouth
      • Tears from pleasure or orgasm are always acceptable
      • Tears from psychological aspects of play: emotional release, mind-fucking, fear play, etc. are acceptable if the top acknowledges it on camera and if the model is not experiencing pain or other duress at the time.
      • If a model begins crying due to pain during a live show, the scene must stop and the model must be comforted ON CAMERA. The scene may continue at a lighter pace to avoid continued crying once the model has stopped crying, the tears are wiped away, and the model has explicitly agreed to continue.
      • All shoots with tears must be reviewed by either Peter Acworth or the Legal Department except shoots for The Training of O
  17. Verbal references to organized religions are prohibited.
  18. Verbal references to competing companies or models are prohibited
  19. Ass to mouth: Items used anally must appear clean before being used orally. No scat shown. Rimming a clean anus is not prohibited.
  20. NO dunking under water for more than 30 seconds at a time. Model must be allowed to recover after each dunking. The Safeword protocol must be strictly followed during dunking. Dunking scenes are only permitted on specific sites where the billing company has agreed.
  21. Abductions are NOT allowed on sites billed with Visa US. Visa EU has more relaxed rules, but unless you are shooting for a site that will be entirely billed by our EU billers Abductions are not permitted.
  22. Fisting and Pissing ARE permitted. This is due to relaxation of rules by our processors. However, do not combine fisting or pissing with other edgy content. For example, do not shoot a fisting scene where the model is also being pissed on.
  23. Forcing models to put their heads in the toilet is NOT allowed
  24. Scenes involving BDSM: Pre- and Post-scene Interviews
      • Shoots involving BDSM must include both a pre- and post-scene interview. The pre-shoot interview is to establish consent. It shows that the model is taking part in the scene through his/her own free will, that the model is not under the influence of any intoxicating or controlled substance, and that the model fully understands what will take place during the shoot. It is acceptable to have models lightly bound for the pre-shoot interview (handcuffed or secured but not completely bound). The post shoot must be at least 2 ½ minutes long, and the model(s) must have sufficiently recovered from the shoot to express themselves coherently about the shoot. The model(s) will need to honestly and explicitly say that the shoot was voluntary. The model(s) should do most of the talking, and the questions should be open-ended, not “You had a good time, didn’t you?” Instead, ask “How did you feel about that shoot?” The responses need to be coherent.
      • For the series updates (Such as Cabo), each of the series should include the following:
        • A pre-interview in the first update of the series to establish consent
        • A post interview at the end of the final shoot
        • A “To Be Continued” intertitle should appear in the video of every shoot in the series where another episode follows to make it clear that it is part of a series
        • One smiling thumbnail per promo clip set as the sixth clip should be chosen for each update in the series and that 6th promo’s video should include 5 seconds of the post interview that the thumbnail was taken from. The 5 seconds must include a smiling model and preferable a verbal affirmation that s/he enjoyed the shoot, such as a “Thumbs Up!” and the model saying “That was awesome!”
  25. Threats of injury or death and/or simulated use of a firearm or other lethal weapons during a bondage scene
  26. Bondage that causes a visible loss of circulation is not permitted. Body parts should not turn blue during bondage. Blue skin is a visible loss of circulation.
  27. Material that integrates the “Safe Word” into the dynamic of the scene; NO taunting or daring the model to use the safeword
      • The model must be aware of the Safe Word as described above. The model should be periodically reminded of his/her Power to use the safeword during scene downtime, especially when the scene is intense. The Top should step out of character, comfort the model, and ask if the Model is OK and remind the model that it is OK to use the Safe Word. The Safe Word should not be used as part of the scene or ever to taunt or dare a Model.
      • ANY PERSON on the set has the power to request a brief downtime to check in on a Model if they feel it is necessary. Kink.com wants to avoid the possibility that models feel pressure to not use the Safe Word when on camera
  28. Breath Play with plastic bags beyond 30 seconds is not allowed.
  29. Electricity used in an unsafe manner
      • Electricity should not be used above the waist except as follows
        • Nipple Clamps where the nipple completes the circuit (electricity passes on through the nipple, not from breast to breast or breast to other area of the body)
        • Muscle stimulators attached to the lower abdominal area
        • Mains powered appliances, such as the Hitachi Magic Wand, may not be used in any scene that also includes water
        • TENS units used in WirePussy.com are low-voltage stimulators. Safe play requires low-voltage stimulation.

General Guidelines

Limits. Discuss limits beforehand. I.e. Find out if the model is ok with Breast fondling, touching of genitals, cunnilingus, spanking, nipple clamps, kissing and/or anything else you may be planning before the scene begins. Follow these limits explicitly and do not try to persuade the model to alter his/her limits after the scene has started. Try nipple clamps and the various whips/paddles you intend to use off camera before the scene.

Numbness. A model should be removed from bondage as quickly as possible if she/he complains about numbness, or loss of use of muscles. Always check a model's circulation and communicate with him/her throughout the scene. A model in subspace may not tell you if he/she is going numb.

Injuries. if a model complains of an injury and needs medicals attention, have them contact HR immediately to complete Worker's Comp paperwork.

Release. The producer should estimate how long it will take to remove the model from bondage, and the model should be told this. E.g. For a complex suspension it may take 5 minutes to remove all ropes. In this case, tell the model 'It will take 5 minutes to remove this bondage, please tell me when you think you need to be released within 5 minutes.'

Marking. Models must be informed about the possibility of being marked prior to the shoot, and they must explicitly agree to being marked in a way that lasts more than a few hours. Superficial, skin level marking is OK with the permission of the model. Heavier marking beneath the skin, including blue/purple bruising should not be substantial, even if the model consents.

Model Paperwork. Generally, this is the Talent Manager's responsibility. If the Talent Manager is absent, this becomes the webmaster's responsibility. Please check with the Talent Manager to make sure you understand what is required.

Promotional Materials.

Images:

  1. For our BDSM sites, one smiling images must be chosen per update, no genital nudity. The model must be visibly smiling, this image should be the last image in the set (bottom right). The reason for this is that this can make the difference between a non-BDSM person perceiving our material as consensual rather than non-consensual.
  2. No image depicting a restrained and hooded (including blindfolded) model being penetrated, or a model whose head is under water or in a plastic bag may be chosen for the updates page or for the promotional images.
  3. No image implying agony, screaming or choking of participants. Images showing screaming which is clearly derived from pleasure are acceptable.

Video:

For our BDSM sites (Wiredpussy, Waterbondage, Hogtied, Whippedass, Meninpain, SexAndSubmission), the following is required:

  1. One smiling thumbnail per promo clip set. This must be the sixth clip.
  2. 6th promo clip: include 5 seconds of the final interview showing a smile. You will need to join 15 seconds of regular footage and 5 seconds of interview.

Copywriting:

  1. The words "abduct", "abduction" and “rape” cannot be used. Additionally, the copy cannot imply actual rape or abduction. I.e. “we grabbed betty off the street, tied her up and force-fucked her” would not be allowed, whereas “Betty got tied up and was given forced orgasms” would be ok.
