Assistant Video Editor

JOB OBJECTIVES

This is an entry level position to assist Post Production Department and all site crews.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

  • Watch all videos for shooting rules and technical QA, and coordinate with Production Manager and crewmembers to fix problems.
  • Check files for naming errors and send them to encode.
  • Manage post-production resources databases and paperwork.
  • Manage archived media.

ESSENTIAL JOB REQUIREMENTS:

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • BA degree or equivalent job experience in video production or new media.
  • Advanced computer skills on Mac OS X platforms and Google Docs.
  • Familiarity with Final Cut Studio

JOB OBJECTIVE:

Build out new products and maintain and expand our existing offerings. Develop with and improve on our highly scalable web delivery platform. Become an active participant in our team helping drive innovation to propel us forward into new markets such as social, dating and live content.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

  • Think critically, work independently and contribute well written code as a member of an Agile development team.
  • Design and implement code for new features.
  • Maintain, monitor and operate existing systems.
  • Help troubleshoot production issues when they arise.
  • Work with other departments to help determine requirements and priorities.
  • Document your work and communicate issues as appropriate.

KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE:

  • 7+ years of software development experience.
  • You have a history of getting things done efficiently.
  • You work well with test driven and Agile methodologies.
  • Strong Java skills.
  • Experience developing with and deploying on JBoss or other current J2EE containers.

QA Manager

JOB OBJECTIVE:


ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

  • Ownership of the overall product quality and QA team resources this includes ownership of the quality of both manual and automated testcases and testcase execution. This includes staff management.
  • Experience working in an agile environment.
  • 5+ years QA Experience in a web based environment.
  • 2 + years overall management experience.
  • Provide timely updates on QA progress of projects / iterations.
  • Excited about manual testing as well as automation. This role will be expected to dive right in with the team while also performing management tasks.
  • Define and track QA metrics including code coverage, quality & performance.
  • Manages the planning and execution of testing efforts, including all associated resources to meet committed delivery dates for released and soon-to-be-released system updates and new products. This includes reviewing team member's test case to ensure adequate coverage.
  • Sets priorities, directs workflow, obtains resources and sets overall expectations pertaining to schedules and quality.
  • Ensure a high level of quality of test cases and testing performed by the QA team.
  • Maintain QA tools and is a key driver of setting up automation tools and managing automated tests.
  • Attend meetings as a representative of the QA team.
  • Provide training to outside departments on new features when needed.

ESSENTIAL JOB REQUIREMENTS:

Education and Experience:

  • You are excited about hands on black box testing, as this role will require you to be a functional member of the team.
  • You have experience with Selenium or other automated testing tools. We will be implementing automation from the ground up so it is essential you have the knowledge and ability perform this task.
  • You have at least 2+ years management experience. Including performance reviews and resource management tasks.
  • You have a deep understanding of quality assurance processes and techniques.
  • You have Experience using Jira /Green hopper or other agile tool.
  • You maintain a keen sense of appropriate quality levels to meet business objectives, and understand that not all projects are created equally.
  • You have solid technical understanding of web and/or mobile technologies and can hold your own in technical discussions with engineers.
  • You function well in a fast-paced, informal environment.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills. Able to handle situations in a diplomatic fashion.

QA Analyst

JOB OBJECTIVE:

We are seeking a QA Analyst with a background in Web QA. This role requires an exceptional eye for detail. This is an ideal position for a detail-oriented individual with experience in manual QA of Websites or web-based applications, including test plan creation, regression testing, data testing, functionality and usability testing, and bug reporting and tracking.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

  • Review content/functionality that is scheduled for release to live launch, ensuring company's quality standards are upheld on every page.
  • Able to perform in a agile environment with tight iteration schedules.
  • Perform other job-related duties and responsibilities as assigned.
  • Document software issues discovered using Jira/Greenhopper.
  • Create test scenarios based on understanding of systems in order to regression test.
  • Training other departments on new features when necessary.
  • Experience with automation is a plus.
  • Help administer the Jira/Greenhopper tool when needed.

ESSENTIAL JOB REQUIREMENTS:

Education and Experience:

  • 2+ Years experience in software quality assurance role with emphasis in functional testing. Thorough understanding of web development concepts and qa methodologies.
  • 2-year degree preferred, but a combination of education, training and/ or experience that fulfills the requirements of the position will be considered.
  • Knowledge or experience with affiliate marketing programs a plus.
  • Able to maintain a professional demeanor while handling and reporting issues.

Maintenance Technician

JOB OBJECTIVE:

Under general supervision, performs a variety of work in the general maintenance and repair of buildings, facilities, and equipment. Performs related duties as assigned.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

  • General Maintenance and Repair of Buildings, Facilities, Equipment, and Grounds
  • Performs a variety of work in the maintenance and repair of buildings and grounds including carpentry, electrical, plumbing, glazier, masonry, and painting tasks; repairs and treats structures such as floors, showers, sinks, walls, roofs, and carpets; performs minor troubleshooting, repairs, and adjustments of locks on doors, cabinets, desks, closets; repairs door hinges; cleans plugged key slots; changes filters on heating, ventilating and air conditioning units; services appliances, kitchen, and emergency equipment; hooks up appliances; reports mechanical malfunctions to appropriate party for action; moves and assists in moving furniture and equipment at various facilities/sites; exercises discretion in identifying projects requiring the services of a higher skilled crafts person; assists in obtaining quotes and arranging for services of outside vendors as needed; annotates and updates work logs for specific site requirements; maintains clean, safe and orderly work sites.
  • Carpentry: Performs basic rough and finished carpentry work in construction and repair of structures such as partitions, walls, doors, fences, window frames, office furniture, roofs, and shelves.
  • Glazier: Removes broken glass, putty or plastic; replaces windows and door hardware; replaces or arranges for replacement of glass for windows, doors, and light fixtures.
  • Electrical: Performs basic electrical installation and repair work in wiring for switches, outlets, plugs, cables, power circuits and appliances; repairs lighting systems; inspects electrical systems for unsafe conditions.
  • Plumbing/Painting: Identifies and performs basic repairs of plumbing leaks or breaks; opens clogged lines and drains; replaces washers and other minor parts; maintains and monitors septic system; applies and prepares various surfaces for paint, enamel, lacquer, varnish, or stain; repairs wall coverings.
